The Burlington, N.C., Board of Adjustment has voted against granting a special-use permit to build a construction and demolition recycling facility in the city, according to a report in the Sun News (Myrtle Beach, S.C.).
Kent Coble, owner of Coble’s Sandrock construction and demolition landfill in southern Alamance County had applied for the permit for about 37 acres on which to build a recycling facility.
