The most recent BIR World Mirror report posits that nonferrous markets should hold up through the next few months, although caution should be used.
The most recent BIR World Mirror report on non-ferrous markets finds that many of the contributors to the report are indicating that markets are strengthening, with the Chinese market playing a key role in the unfolding market.
While many non-ferrous grades have been improving through the fall, several speakers are expressing concern that a correction could be coming.
Another area that is looming is the Chinese New Year, which will take place early next year. During this time Chinese buyers curtail their orders. This could result in a sharper drop in offshore shipments.
