According to published reports, Recycled Paperboard Inc., a Clifton, N.J., recycled paperboard mill was purchased by RD Acquisition LLC. The liquidating company that had owned the mill filed for bankruptcy protection late last year.
The company had reportedly won the facility with a bid of $5.05 million.
The auction had been set for earlier this summer, but uncertainty over some of the equipment caused the auction to be pushed back until the middle of August.
