Four speakers from the stainless steel and specialty metals industries, including the CEO of AK Steel Corp., will address attendees of the Nickel/Stainless Steel/Specialty Metals Roundtable being hosted by the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI).
The annual event will take place Thursday, September 20 at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh. Fundamentals affecting the pricing of nickel, stainless steel scrap and chrome will be discussed by speakers drawn from both the mill and the recycling sides of the industry.
Scheduled to speak are Richard M. Wardrop, chairman and CEO of AK Steel Corp., Middletown, Ohio; Friedrich Teroerde, chairman of ELG Metals Inc., McKeesport, Pa.; Peter Cranfield, manager of market research for BHP Billiton Inc., London; and Patrick A. Ryan, publisher of Ryan’s Notes, Pelham, N.Y. Jim Lawrence of ELG Metals will serve as moderate of the event.
