Schupan Recycling gets new president

Nick Kronsbein has served as vice president of Schupan Recycling since 2021.

Schupan has promoted Nick Kronsbein to president of Schupan Recycling, the company's beverage container recycling business unit based in Wixom, Michigan.

Kronsbein has served as vice president of Schupan Recycling since 2021, overseeing business development and critical plant infrastructure projects. He is an expert in Michigan and Iowa's bottle deposit systems, previously having served as vice president and general manager of UBCR LLC—a joint logistics venture between Tomra North America and Schupan—starting in 2012.  His long-standing relationships with more than 600 retailers, wholesalers and distributors have been essential to Schupan Recycling’s success in managing efficient container deposit laws, accoring to the company.

Kronsbein holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Michigan State University and an MBA in finance from Walsh College.

In his new role, Krosbein will continue to lead the beverage container recycling division's long-term growth strategy and deliver sustainable material solutions for partners and Michigan and Iowa residents.
