Niagara Metals,a scrap metal recycler based in Niagara Falls, N.Y., has launched its first Customer and Community Appreciation Days. The company says the goal of the program, started Jan. 3, 2011, is to thank customer and the community for the support it has given the company.
The promotion is slated to run for five months, and will include weekly and monthly prizes, culminating with a grand prize drawing for a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup truck. A total of more than 90 prizes will be awarded through the promotion.
The promotion also will include donations to a number of charitable organizations operating in the Niagara Falls area.
“This is our way of giving back to our customers, and helping those who help others, especially the less fortunate in our own backyard. Western New York has given our family so many opportunities and been our home for four generations – so we’re excited to return the favor,” says Todd Levin, Niagara Metals’ president.
