The Newark Group, a leader in the collection of secondary fibers and the manufacturing and converting of 100 percent recycled paperboard, has developed a new chipboard product.
The Newark Group says the new product, called FlexTan, is manufactured from 100 percent recovered fiber and is designed to deliver unparalleled smoothness and scoring capabilities.
In announcing the new product, Frank Papa, president and CEO of The Newark Group, headquartered in Cranford, N.J., highlights the value of FlexTan. “The physical characteristics of FlexTan are far superior to those of standard bending chip, so now customers can get the benefit of a green product from a product that approaches virgin material.”
