The Newark Group announced it is raising the price on all its recycled paperboard grades by $50 a ton. The price increase is effective March 24.
The company cited a significant increase in natural gas prices as one reason for the decision to raise prices.
The company also announced that its Newark Paperboard Products is announcing an 8.2 percent price hike on cores, tubes, edge protectors, chipboard headers, and some roll wrap products.Latest from Recycling Today
