Rob Winnick, who has been involved in the transportation logistics industry for more than 12 years, has formed a new transport brokerage company called Raw Logistics LLC (www.raw-logistics.com). The new company, based in the Minneapolis, Minn., area, has been designed to offer third party logistics services to the freight shipping segment on a nationwide basis. Full truckloads, pallets, commodities, high value cargo, scrap and recyclables will be the company’s focus.
Winnick, who previously worked for KTI Inc., has served in all capacities, from a start up to established mid-sized brokerage firms. RAW Logistics will focus on customer service featuring on-line freight tracking and real time communications capabilities.
“Success will be based on listening to customers and satisfying their needs, timely and economically. Our systems will be a means of monitoring customer needs, listening and delivering – but always being mindful of our relationships with all people engaged in the supply-delivery chain,” says Winnick.
