OEM Data Delivery, a manufacturer of jobsite data delivery systems for landfill and construction operations, has introduced a radio technology for tracking machine utilization and services, continuously and in real time.
The ST-500 Radio Service Tracker transmits the equipment hours and service alerts via radio frequency to a primary radio tower. The primary radio tower is connected either to a PDA hand-held data collector or directly to a computer. Applications can include a dashboard mount for fuel, lube, or pickup truck drive, or a tower at the gate to capture the data. The equipment ID, hours, location, and service data is then downloaded into a web report computer program. There is no interruption of equipment operation.
ST-500 is an excellent tool for fast, accurate job costing, and for optimizing equipment maintenance by avoiding over and under-servicing. It may also be used with the OEM’s other PDA hand-held software programs that capture fuel, repair, inspection, phase and task data. Managers receive timely, detailed reports for best-possible decision making – and fastest return-on-investment for high-value equipment.
The ST-500 works with all PDA data collection systems, including fuel tracking, inspections, work orders, equipment repair and more. Captured information is easily integrated into back office management systems.
