New Site for European Recyclables Opens

Clickwaste has opened its Internet auction market place for waste and secondary materials The site is available to most European countries.

Clickwaste is a marketplace for waste and secondary materials (recyclables) and works very much like an auction. Bringing together those who hold waste and those that dispose of wastes properly is the focus of Clickwaste. Many materials such as metal, plastics, paper, can be recycled and are traded and sold.

To provide this service, Clickwaste has developed a software that reflects two types of auctions:

Reverse Auction This is the most common auction for all materials generally considered to be waste. Its purpose is to achieve the lowest price possible.

If, however, a bidder considers the waste up for auction a valuable material, the auction will automatically swing and become a Forward Auction This is the most common auction for all materials generally considered as secondary materials that are recyclable and have a market price.

Its purpose here is to achieve the highest price possible.

The European Waste Catalog is the center of Clickwaste.. The EWC codes are valid throughout Europe and contain just about any waste conceivable.

Most services offered at Clickwaste are free of charge. To name a few:

- Registration

- Starting auctions

- Bidding

- Address book

- Documentation upload

General

According to the company Clickwaste is not an auction in the traditional sense. It is always up to the seller to select his business partner from the best bids.

Clickwaste will charge a 3 percent commission fee from the successful bidder, but only if the bidder actually receives an order for the disposal services/material up for auction.
