A privately owned New Hampshire C&D recycling facility has proposed an expansion plan that would increase daily capacity from 300 tons to 1,500 tons, according to a report in the Concord Monitor (

The center processes C&D debris, other recyclable material and solid waste.
According to the report, if approved, the construction would take place in three phases. A first phase would involve the construction of a new 12,000-square-foot processing building and a new internal access road.
The second phase would include a new maintenance building and truck scale. The third phase of construction would include a 28,000-square-foot addition to the existing recycling and transfer building, additional roadway and a new processing area for wood, metal and construction material.
The zoning board approved the plan in March.
