New England E Recycling LLC has invested in RMG Enterprise LLC , an electronics recycling firm with facilities in Londonderry, N.H. and North Kingstown, R.I.
New England E Recycling, an affiliate of Office Paper Recovery Systems Inc., Wilmington, Mass., says it purchased a major interest in RMG to help the company develop its operations.
Bob Gallinaro, president of RMG, says, "The infusion of investment dollars and synergies with Office Paper Recovery Systems Inc. will assist us in managing our operations and fund growth for years to come. Up to this point we've focused primarily on processing bare tubes generated through our own dismantling activities. The investment enables us to expand capacity and further automate our line which will give us the ability to process for others in the industry as well."
RMG is a commercial solid waste processing facility with the N.H. Department of Environmental Services and a statewide contractor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Rhode Island and the State of Connecticut’s legislated eWaste programs.
RMG also announced that it is working with parties to become certified under ISO14001, R2/RIOS and become an e-Steward. In a press release, RMG says it expects to be officially certified to all three standards by the third quarter of 2011.
