National Association Supply Cooperative (NASCO-OP) has declared a 1.6 percent patronage dividend for 2006, reports Bob Bedard, the co-operative’s manager.
The dividend, calculated on the purchases a member or associate made at the cooperative, further reduces the purchase price of supplies and equipment.
“In today’s increasingly competitive marketplace, the need for NASCO-OP is greater now than ever before,” says Bedard. “Co-operatives give members and users of all sizes the purchasing clout of an entire industry while still maintaining their independence,” adds.
NASCO-OP is a recycling industry purchasing co-operative and open at no additional cost to members of ISRI, CARI and the National Demolition Association.
More information on NASCO-OP can be found on its Web site at www.nascoop.com or by calling the organization at (800) 321-3396.
