Mustang Adds to Loader Line

Mustang introduces the new 2012 skid steer loader and 2700V vertical-lift steer loader.

Mustang, West Bend, Wis., a leading manufacturer of compact equipment for the agriculture and construction markets, has introduced its latest steer loader models, the 2012 and 2700V.

The compact 2012 model measures only 3-feet wide and 6.25-feet tall, making it ideal for maneuvering through narrow alleys, doorways, aisles and corridors. Other features include 36-inch width with 5.70 x 12 tire option or 42-inch width with 8.50 x 12 heavy-duty flotation tire option. The loader is powered by a 24-horsepower Yanmar diesel engine and has a rated operating capacity of 850 pounds

The 2700V skid steer loader features a Yanmar Tier III 84-horsepower, turbocharged diesel engine and a rated operating capacity of 2,700 pounds. The vertical-lift boom offers customers enhanced stability and more than 130 inches of lift height, according to the company. The heavily constructed vertical-lift boom also provides considerable forward reach at trailer loading and dumping heights. The 2700V also features thick steel plating and heavy-duty pins and bushings and an extra-long wheelbase and new chassis design.
