Mumford Industries Inc., a South Carolina recycling company, has announced its vice president of business development and marketing, Tina Green Huskey, has been appointed by state Gov. Nikki Haley to the Recycling Market Development Advisory Council (RMDAC) as representative of South Carolina.
RMDAC functions under the South Carolina Department of Commerce to boost materials recovery, promote the recycling value chain across the state and to provide recycling program recommendations to the governor and General Assembly each year.
Prior to partnering with Mumford Industries Inc. in 2005, Huskey was active for 12 years creating a background of experience in the industry as an account representative for a Fortune 500 waste hauling company, general manager for a mill direct paper recycling facility, and as a private waste consultant for large industrial clients. She is the past Chairperson for RecyclonomicsSC, and a Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) certified South Carolina Professional Recycler.
