The Carolina Recycling Association (CRA) has planned a full menu of educational sessions for its 14th Annual Conference, to be held March 22-25 in Charlotte.
“Staying on Track . . . Revving Up Recycling” is the them of the event, held at the “Race City’s” Adam’s Mark Hotel in downtown Charlotte.
The show, which appeals to municipal recycling coordinators and private sector recyclers who serve municipal markets, includes workshops, off-site tours, and exhibit hall, educational and informational sessions and a pre-conference golf tournament.
Among the topics to be addressed at educational sessions addressing the recycling of curbside materials, C&D materials, tires and electronic scrap.
Tours will be offered of a sewing thread plant with an in-house recycling program; a pallet recycling company that produces mulch and boiler fuel; and a county recycling facility where curbside materials, tires and hazardous household wastes are all handled.
