“A utility or other organization often is required to establish scrap or liquidation value for financial or insurance reasons,” said Paul Glantz, president of MRC.
“With our engineering background, as well as our knowledge in the scrap metal industry, we were able to establish current and predict future values using a combination of both technical and fundamental analysis. Our research also provided the customer the likelihood of attaining increased value by planning for a reduction in dismantling and processing costs, and marketing some of the material as reusable items.”
MRC consults with organizations requiring a variety of services including marketing, material handling, environmental concerns, sourcing, contract negotiations, plant efficiency and evaluations.
