The Mumbai-based Material Recycling Association of India (MRAI) has announced Feb. 2-4 as the dates and the city of Kochi as the location for its 2019 annual conference.
The annual conference will be the first one for the group since changing its name from the Metal Recycling Association of India in June 2018.
The MRAI has selected the Hotel Grand Hyatt in Kochi as its venue. Kochi is in the southern India state of Kerala and is considered a beach vacation destination in India.
MRAI began hosting annual conferences in 2012, moving the event to different cities in India throughout this decade. The association says it regularly attracts 1,000 delegates or more to the events, which include sessions on topics of interest to recyclers, traders and consumers of recycled materials.
Details about the 2019 event in Kochi will be made available as they are arranged.Latest from Recycling Today
