Metal Packaging Europe (MPE), Brussels, has appointed two new vice presidents, Mandy Glew of Westminster, Colorado-based Ball Corp. and JehanZeb Noor of Amsterdam-based Trivium Packaging, following its annual general meeting (AGM) and conference in Amsterdam.
The MPE Conference and AGM gathered industry leaders across Europe to explore the future of rigid metal packaging.
“This event provided an opportunity to reflect on MPE’s achievements and discuss the challenges and opportunities to position rigid metal packaging as the ideal partner for a sustainable future,” MPE CEO Krassimira Kazashka says. “The expertise and passion that Dr. Mandy Glew and JehanZeb Noor bring to MPE will be instrumental in achieving these goals.”
Glew was recently promoted to president of beverage packaging for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia at Ball Corp. She previously served as vice president for commercial EMEA and Asia at the company.
“It was an honor to speak at Metal Packaging Europe’s AGM conference in my new role as president for EMEA and Asia at Ball Corp.,” Glew says. “As the metal packaging industry strives for circularity and decarbonization, associations like MPE play a key role in bringing the right stakeholders together to foster collaboration across the value chain.
“I look forward to building on Ball’s ongoing support of the European metal packaging industry as vice chair of MPE.”
Noor serves as president and managing director of Trivium Packaging.
“I am eager to work with industry players to shape the future of metal packaging and tackle the short-term challenges we face,” he says. “Together, we can accelerate sustainability and take our industry to the next level of performance.”
MPE says its leadership team will ensure its ability to support the growth and sustainability of the metal packaging industry.
