Moving Up

The US Shredder and Castings Group has relocated its main sales office to Birmingham, Ala. The move coincided with the company’s two year anniversary. 

According to company President Bill Tigner, “Our company has grown so quickly over the last two years, we felt we needed a location that afforded us better transportation options as well as a larger personnel pool to draw from.” 

The engineering and operations office will remain at the company’s Mackinaw, Ill. facility. The company also maintains regional sales offices in Charlotte, N.C. and Davenport, Iowa. 

The US Shredder and Castings Group offers scrap downstream systems, nonferrous recovery, air systems, scrap shears, balers and loggers; as well shredder castings, service and consulting to the scrap industry.
