The San Diego-based moving company Bernardo Moving & Storage has begun collecting obsolete electronics for recycling.
David Price, general manager of Bernardo Moving & Storage, says, “The electronics recycling program is a way for Bernardo Moving & Storage to provide a resource to the community to get rid of their unwanted electronics and provide a ‘green’ solution to their disposal.”
Price says individuals can drop off unwanted electronics at the company’s warehouse during business hours or Bernardo Moving & Storage will collect the items for customers of its moving business.
The company ships collected electronics to ECS Refining for processing. Price says ECS was chosen because the company is easy to do business with.
