AXO Shredders has opened a factory in Kitchener, Ontario. The company states that it is the largest manufacturer of mobile shedding trucks outside North America. The new location will serve customers in both the United States and Canada.
The models manufactured from this factory incorporate features designed specifically for the North American market. “AXO machinery isn’t new to the shredding industry – they’re the biggest selling Mobile Destruction Truck in Europe and Japan”, says Mike Berry, sales director for AXO Shredders Corp. “In fact we’ve been surprised at how far ahead the AXO technology is”, continues Berry.
“Because of their years of experience in Japan, AXOs quality and design features have been lifted to a very high level” says Pete Viveen, technical director for AXO Shredders Corp. Although the directors have significant industry experience, the company undertook a market survey to establish the requirements of the owners and operators of mobile document shredding trucks in the North American market. The new design features are based around improving productivity, ease of use and fuel economy.
The company will be demonstrating its Mobile Shredding Truck at the upcoming NAID Show in San Antonio next month.
