Mobile Record Shredders, a Pueblo, Colorado-based information destruction company, has merged with Fort Mill, South Carolina-based Shred America LLC to form Shred America Colorado.

Mobile Record Shredders co-owners Joe O’Brien, Lawrence Anaya and Julia Anaya say they prioritized finding an independently owned company to take over the team.

“We were looking for a partner who could take us to new levels of success, while keeping our two main goals intact; great customer service provided by a highly trained and dedicated staff,” O’Brien says. “I can’t think of anyone better than Shred America to keep that legacy going strong.”

Shred America, a veteran-owned information destruction company, has locations in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Kansas and Texas. With clients in more than 48 states and 30 trucks, the company was recognized by Inc magazine in 2022 as the 217th fastest growing privately held company in the United States.

“This integration embodies our commitment to revolutionizing the way businesses and individuals safeguard their sensitive information,” Shred America CEO Ryan Richard says. “While our footprint expands, one thing remains unwavering; our dedication to unparalleled customer service.”
