MITIE Names Taylor Director of its Waste & Environmental Business

United Kingdom-based facilities management firm promotes Michael Taylor.


MITIE (http://www.mitie.com/), which manages facilities, properties and assets throughout the United Kingdom, has named Michael Taylor managing director for its waste and environmental business. Taylor will focus on growing MITIE as a waste outsourcing company in the U.K. 

Taylor previously was operations director at MITIE’s Waste & Environmental business. In his new position, he will be responsible for developing MITIE’s business into a major waste outsourcing partner. The company presently employs more than 80 waste management professionals.

Spencer Rock, commercial director of MITIE Facilities Management says, “It is with pleasure that we welcome Mike to his new post as managing director. It demonstrates our commitment to promote from within and give people the opportunities that their application and talent deserve.”
