New from Angstrom, Inc. is the MiniSort Hand-Held Spectrometer for sorting and analysis of virtually all types of metals.
The MiniSort is a totally hand-held, truly portable arc/spark metal sorter. It does not require an external battery pack or set-up and is very simple to operate. Tests on metal samples are complete in 3 seconds.
Since the MiniSort utilizes the arc/spark method to excite each sample, no x-ray tube or radioactive isotope is required.
The MiniSort is the only hand-held analyzer on the market that can analyze and sort aluminum alloys, both wrought and cast. It will also analyze copper, nickel, titanium, cobalt and iron base materials – all on one unit.
