UAE Minister of Environment to Open Middle East Recycling Conference

His Excellency Dr. Rashid Bin Fahad to open Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference Middle East in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in late February.

The 2012 Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference Middle East will be officially opened by His Excellency Dr. Rashid Bin Fahad, the Minister of Environment of the United Arab Emirates. He also will deliver the keynote address.

At the opening session on Feb. 27, he will be joined by His Excellency Hamad Al-Ameri, General Manager of The Centre of Waste Management in Abu Dhabi as well as senior executives from Dubai Municipality.

Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference Middle East is being held at the JW Marriott Hotel in Dubai Feb. 27-28. It is co-hosted by the Recycling Today Media Group and Dubai-based Media Fusion, the publisher of Waste & Recycling Middle East magazine.

This event is an extension of Recycling Today Media Group’s Paper Recycling Conference and Trade Show in the U.S. (held annually since 2000) and in Paper Recycling Conference in Europe (held annually since 2005).

Paper & Plastics Recycling Conference Middle East has been designed to offer market -driven sessions examining commodity markets for recovered paper and plastics in a global context, insights from local policy makers on regional waste and recycling management development and case studies from local recyclers of how the industry is being developed in the Middle East.
