The Material Recycling facility operated by the Southeastern Oakland (Michigan) County Resource Recovery Authority announced that it will be providing free shredding for residents of the district. The MRF is located in Troy, Mich. Cities in the SOCRRA include
Berkley, Clawson, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge and Royal Oak.
The shredder is available 8 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Saturdays. The shredded paper is recycled.
