Michael Meyers has been added to the staff of the Nonferrous Marketing Group of OmniSource Corp., Fort Wayne, Ind. According to a company news release, Meyers will focus his efforts on expanding service to nonferrous industrial and dealer accounts in the Midwest.
Meyers, who was previously employed by Admetco in Fort Wayne, has more than a decade of experience in the scrap industry and is currently serving as president of the Indiana Chapter of the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI).
Also recently added to the OmniSource nonferrous division is Lou Rivera, who will work from the company’s East Chicago, Ind., location. Rivera has previously been employed by City Scrap Metal LLC, Lee’s Summit, Mo., working from the company’s Chicago location, and by Galamet Inc. in Kansas City, Mo.
