Mextek LLC, headquartered in Dallas, has attained R2 (Responsible Recycling Practices) certification for its Texas location. The company’s facility was audited by Perry Johnson Registrars Inc., an accredited certification body for R2.
In a press statement, Ferris Segovia, president of Mextek, says, “Mextek continues to be at the forefront of the end of life segment of the industry and we are proud to receive the R2 certificate and recognition.”
The company, formed in 2009, focuses primarily on handling end-of-life electronics. While the company specializes in processing CRT (cathode ray tube) glass, it is involved in all aspects of electronics recycling. The company services customers throughout the United States.
