Equipment supplier Metso is marketing a new sea container loading system, which loads both 20-foot and 40-foot containers in minutes without any special equipment, the company says.
According to Metso, features of the sea container loading system include:
· No special foundations
· Fast efficient loading
· Scale option to weigh as you load
· Variable speed belt and feeder
· Extra heavy-duty construction
· Loads both nonferrous and shredded scrap
The system can load 40,000 pounds of shredded scrap in six minutes and 40,000 pounds of nonferrous scrap in 12 minutes, Metso adds.
