The equipment company Metso has announced plans to close its Dusseldorf, Germany, manufacturing plant, which makes equipment for the recycling industry.
The company says the decision to shutter the plant is based on current weak market demand and is part of the its global strategy to reduce costs and optimize its business processes with the goal of being able to offer high-quality equipment for the metals recycling business at competitive prices.
