Metso Minerals has announced the appointment of Scott Equipment Company LLC as a distributor serving the contractor, recycling and demolition markets.
Two of Scott Equipment’s operating companies—Scott Construction Equipment Co. and Scott Construction Co. of Louisiana—will represent Metso’s contract crushing and mobile screen lines in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as western Tennessee.
They will sell and service Lokotrack mobile crushing (LT) and mobile screening (ST) plants and Nordberg CV50 and CV100 wheel-mounted mobile screens.
Scott Equipment Co. sells and rents farm and construction equipment through some 30 locations throughout Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. The company also offers parts and services.
Metso Minerals Industries Inc., headquartered in Waukesha, Wis., supplies and services rock and mineral processing equipment.
