TS 69/90 shredder |
Metso Recycling-Texas Shredder has introduced the new TS 69/90 shredder, a shredder designed for small- to mid-size scrap processors in developing or smaller markets.
According to a release introducing the shredder, Metso says that the shredder is designed for processing a complete mix of scrap metal that is typical of larger shredders, including appliances, light scrap and loose material.
The company says benefits of the TS 69/90 include:
A smaller shredder with ample power; designed for 30-50 tons per hour output; lower initial investment, resulting in a faster return on investment;optimized for metal shredding in niche and developing markets; and optional high-density package available for cooling scrap applications.
Design features of the 69/90 shredder include a 40-degree feed chute, dual 30-inch feed roll, hydraulic roll drive, shredding chamber based on the proven Lindemann ZZ175 design, spider rotor, single DC drive motor and basic electrical controls.
