Metso, with U.S. headquarters in San Antonio, has announced a new line of blades to the North American market for Metso’s Lindemann shears and metal balers. According to the company, these blades are manufactured with a high-quality proprietary material and process and have been field proven in heavy applications with equal or improved durability over conventional blade materials.
The company’s new blades can be made available for competitive shear models and metal balers.
Further operational efficiency and safety can be achieved by installation of Metso’s Hydraulic Blade Tensioning System, the company says. This can be field retrofitted to Metso’s Lindemann shears and for other shear brands, eliminating the need for continuous torqueing of the blade bolts.
