Metso, Helsinki, signed a nonexclusive agreement with Arcon Machinery a.s., Rícany, Czech Republic, for the Czech and Slovakian market areas. According to a Metso news release, the agreement covers countries of Czech Republic and Slovakia for sales of Metso's waste recycling equipment and services for fine-, mobile- and pre-shredders.
Arcon Machinery serves as a supplier of industrial equipment for the waste and recycling industries in the Central and Eastern European markets. According to a Metso news release, Arcon has already sold shredders to an incineration plant and to one of the biggest Czech steel recycling companies.
“Our cooperation with Arcon will strengthen Metso's waste recycling position in the interesting CEE market. Arcon is committed to growing and developing the business further in this market. Along with their emphasis on services, this makes them a solid addition to our distributor network,” says Pawel Donimirski, sales manager CEE, waste recycling, Metso.
Metso’s global waste recycling community has more than 30 official distributors and agencies.
