Metro Shredding, a non-profit mobile shredding company dedicated to providing special needs community members with opportunities to gain self-reliance, has announced that the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has chosen Metro Shredding to perform all of its record and archive shredding. Metro Shredding will provide the County Prosecutor’s Office with complete on-site document and archival shredding in Jersey City, Secaucus and other locations.
J. De Fazio says. "We chose Metro Shredding because they appear to be a first class organization that provides secure and reliable services. Equally important, they support the community by employing people with special needs and by funneling their profits back into vocational training programs offered by their parent company. By doing business with Metro Shredding, we are supporting our community,” he said.
“Today, the need for the social ventures is being felt even more. Until our economy bounces back, we as a community need to come together to support those who cannot support themselves. Decisions like what vendor to use for shredding now carry more weight and meaning,” she said. “Choosing a social venture means that the money a company spends for services goes directly back to the community to support those in need.”
