Metro Materials Recovery Inc. was the winner of Newstech Recycling Partnership’s annual Supplier of the Year Award.
The company based the award on the following three criteria: recovered paper quality, service efficiency and timely response; and reliability and flexibility in shipping performance.
Metro ships Newstech recovered fiber from throughout western Canada.
Newstech, located in Coquitlam, BC, uses about 180,000 tons per year of recovered fiber to make deinked pulp.
