A 17-year-old boy has been charged with stealing copper wire from Ken Cooper Concrete Recycling. According to the report, the suspect made three trips to the company in August, September and October, each incident resulting in the theft of 440-volt copper wire that ran the conveyor belts and magnets used at the recycling facility.
The suspect has also been charged with burglarizing two other Fruitport businesses, according to the report.
