Metalico Inc. has elected Sean Duffy, president of FCR Recycling, to the company’s board of directors. His term begins Jan. 1, 2010.
He will replace Earl Cornette, who is stepping down from the board at the end of this year.
Duffy also is regional VP of FCR’s parent company Casella Waste Systems, Inc. He co-founded FCR in 1983 and served that company in various capacities, including president, until it was acquired by Casella in 1999.
