The Russian mining and metals company Mechel OAO has announced the establishment of an office in Kiev, Ukraine.
The Ukrainian office will contribute to the development of Mechel's business in Ukraine, including supports of its export activities and contacts with state authorities, conducting market research, arranging meetings with business community and searching new business partners. The new office will also participate in commercial, industrial, scientific and technological cooperation and provide informational support of the Group's activities in Ukraine.
Mechel also operates representative offices in Japan, China, South Korea, Romania and Bulgaria.
