MeadWestvaco announced it is closing its Consumer & Office Products Group envelope plant in Worcester, Mass. The closing is expected to be complete by the end of September. The company expects to transfer business to other MeadWestvaco facilities in the area.
The decision to shutter the facility follows the announced sale of MeadWestvaco’s mill, plants and timberland to Smurfit-Stone Container last week.Get curated news on YOUR industry.
