MeadWestvaco Corp. announced plans to close its general consumer packaging operations in Newark, Del. The company expects to shut the plant by the end of April
The facility is a part of MeadWestvaco’s packaging segment. The facility was opened as part of the former Westvaco Corp. about 40 years ago.
