MeadWestvaco announced initial steps for its restructuring plans resulting from the merger of Mead and Westvaco.
The company’s corporate groups and their locations by 2004 include: Engineering, Dayton, Ohio; Finance, Stamford, Ct.; Human Resources, Richmond, Va.; Information Technology, Charleston, S.C., and Dayton; Legal, Stamford and Dayton; Procurement and Logistics, Dayton and Richmond; and Research and Development, Chillicothe, Ohio, and Laurel, Md.
