McCloskey Introduces Mobile Tracked Feeder for Bulk Materials

The TF80 is designed for conveyance and stockpiling of organic materials.

A new tracked feeder from McCloskey International, Peterborough, Ont., is designed to enhance the process of stockpiling materials that traditionally cause blockages in conventional stackers.

The TF80 facilitates the handling and stockpiling of large wood waste, bark, compost and top soil, all of which can be directly fed into the hopper with large loaders and excavators, the company says.

Powered by a 100-horsepower Kubota engine, the TF80 offers track or wheel mobility and features hydraulic folding for easy transport, resulting in fast on-site setup time in as little as five minutes, McCloskey says.

In addition to the large feed hopper (up to 23.0 cubic yards or 17.3 cubic meters), the TF80 features a 1,200 millimeter- (48-inch) wide heavy duty 80-foot long conveyer and a 1,200 millimeter-wide heavy-duty feeder.

McCloskey says the feeder offers high-level standard safety features and is designed as a robust, efficient mobile stockpiling conveyer for use across a number of industries. In addition, the company says the TF80’s open access engine bay provides excellent access for maintenance, saving time and reducing costs. Options include an aggregate hopper or shredder.
