McCloskey International, based in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, has expanded its footprint to the Netherlands and Luxembourg with the addition of a new distributor. The company has welcomed Pon Equipment, one of Europe’s largest Caterpillar dealerships and service providers to its global network of distributors. The company will offer the McCloskey product line to its custome Netherlands and Luxembourg
Seamus Doyle, international sales manager for McCloskey International, says, “Having Pon Equipment on board will further strengthen our distribution network globally. Working with trusted Cat dealers who have the resources, service and support expected by McCloskey customers is of paramount importance. We anticipate Pon Equipment will contribute significantly to our growth in the marketplace.”
Doyle continues, “Pon Equipment has excellent relationships with customers in the mining and construction industries, and working together will benefit not only our companies but, more importantly, their customers.”
Jörgen van der Voorden, segment manager industry and recycling at Pon Equipment, adds, “We project significant growth in the construction and waste industries in the next five years, and are aligning our product offerings to these emerging opportunities.”
Pon Equipment serves private and government customers across all industries with the Caterpillar brand. McCloskey says its products will be offered for the industry and waste markets, complementing other globally recognized brands like Komptech.

Pon Equipment’s solutions portfolio will consist of:
- Caterpillar equipment for moving and excavation;
- Komptech equipment for screening, shredding and separating bio materials; and
- McCloskey machines for crushing, screening and stacking granulates and building/construction materials.
The addition of McCloskey equipment will allow Pon Equipment to enter new markets with proven, field-tested products, including cement and concrete production, sand and gravel, and demolition recycling, according to the company.
McCloskey International, founded in 1985, designs and makes crushers, impactors, trommel screeners, vibrating screeners, feeders, stacking conveyors and picking stations. McCloskey equipment is used by waste management and recycling operations, aggregate producers, topsoil producers, landscape contractors, composting facilities and mining and quarry operators.
