The primary aluminum market is going up. There is very big demand. As for the secondary material, the market is very bad. Taint/tabor went down in price €100 in one-and-a-half months. That is not so good news.
Secondary [ingot] is coming from China and Russia to Europe. Profile scrap is practically all customers are looking for.
I think in the primary market the situation will be the same during the summer. But I think in the secondary market the price will be under great pressure. There is still not a lot of scrap buying and secondary production in Japan and that market does not look poised to go up. The situation will be the same and prices and demand will be under pressure.
