Brussels-based CEPI (Confederation of European Paper Industries) Director General Marco Mensink will leave his role in the organisation 15 March 2016 for the position of director general in CEFIC (the chemical industry trade federation).
“Marco Mensink has had a lengthy career in CEPI and the overall paper industry sector,” Peter Oswald, CEPI chairman, says. “During that time he has made a major contribution to progress and lead many innovative initiatives and developments. Above all, he leaves a very professional team of colleagues behind.”
The CEPI board thanks Mensink for his contributions to CEPI and wishes him and his family every success in his new role.
CEPI says it has started the process to appoint a replacement, which will be coordinated by the CEPI board Steering Committee, chaired by CEPI Chairman Peter Oswald. The organisation says it will use the support of a recruitment agency.
Candidates can make their interest known by contacting the CEPI chairman on a dedicated and confidential email address, chairman@cepi.org. The applications will be included in the process with the recruitment agency, CEPI says.
