Recycling systems provider the CP Group of Companies, National City, Calif., has announced that it has added two industry veterans to its management team.

John Kemp, who serves as manufacturing and operations support manager for the CP Group, and Greg Thibado, who joins the company as general manager of MSS, have a combined 32 years of experience in the recycling industry.

MSS, based in Nashville, manufactures optical sorting equipment.

“MSS has been a global industry leader for almost 35 years,” Thibado says, “My goal is to continue the development of equipment that meets customer needs and improve on the existing high standards for quality and service”.

Thibado has more than 20 years of work experience with such industry leaders as Alcoa Recycling, BFI and Waste Management. His areas of expertise include facility planning, system design, equipment selection as well as project management for recycling facilities.

Kemp spends most of his time working directly with customers to troubleshoot problems and to help them maximize the performance of their equipment.

“My focus will be to assist our customers on enhancing their existing operations by optimizing the performance of their existing system through efficient operations and integration of new technology,  thus increasing their revenue and enhancing their bottom line,” Kemp says.

Kemp served as market area maintenance manager for Waste Management, where he was responsible for maintenance, process improvements and system upgrades at 20 Midwest recycling facilities.
