France-based MagPro Recycling Sytems has introduced the D15-4-MR eddy current separator. The company says it is distinctive from other machines because of its innovative architecture and the way it works. The machine features a disk-type inducer with very high magnetic values, according to the company.
It was initially designed to extract nonferrous metals from ash, crushed vehicles and WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment). It is also highly effective at separating nonferrous metals such as copper and aluminum, according to the company.
The D15-4-MR can handle particle sizes of up to 15 millimeters and performs best with particle sizes between 5 millimeters and smaller, according to MagPro.
The machine’s compact design makes it easy to install, and wear parts can be replaced in as little as 15 minutes, the company adds.
